As the saying goes, 'April showers bring May flowers', so don't let the rain get you down! May is just around the corner and the season of florals is set to arrive.
Celebrate in suitably feminine style with florals of all kinds - big, bold blooms, delicate ditsies, washed-out watercolours and Japanese-inspired tea cup prints. The ideal accompaniment to this seasons neutrals and pastels.
Here are four of our favourite floral pieces:
|
This Hawaiian-inspired ditsy floral is the perfect example of this season's tropical trend. The maxi length is ideal for summer festivals and events - just add a simple vest top for a gorgeous off-duty look. This combination was a really popular choice at Coachella so we're bound to see more of it at all the UK festivals. Add ethnic accessories, sandals and a straw trilby for star style. |
|
|
A shift dress is a classic choice for both work and parties - just change up the accessories for a change in style. Ballet pumps and a blazer create the perfect office outfit, and switch to heels and statement jewellery for evening. Magnified florals are a sophisticated nod to spring florals without being too girly.

Sometimes a simple item can make a real style statement. A plain white vest is transformed by a thought-out detail, like this artistic single rose print - a great, alternative way to take on florals, rather than an all-over print. The pink works well as a highlight against neutrals, so try chinos or a neutral skirt with this top. |

If full-on femininity is your thing, this is the maxi dress for you. Full of retro style and inspired details - the belt is a great touch to define your waist, while the draped hankerchief hem creates movement. A dress to make you feel like a lady at this summer's weddings, barbecues or al fresco drinks. |

Tomorrow marks the first day of the festival season, with Coachella kicking off in California.
Part hippy-chic and part California cool, Coachella style is the epitome of festival fashion. With the constant sun of the California coast, super-short shorts are a staple, along with simple strappy maxi dresses, block colour vests, exotic prints, and ethnic accessories.
Last year stars including Ashley Green, Diane Kruger, Whitney Port and Kate Bosworth were spotted rocking this look at Coachella:

We can't wait to see what the celeb-packed crowd is wearing this year, but meanwhile, here are our product selections to help you get the Coachella look, perfect for all of this summer's festivals.

Chocolate, bunnies, daffodails and a four day weekend - all good reasons why Easter is one of our favourite holidays!
This bank holiday weekend we're going to really get in the spirit and go to Covent Garden to see all the eggs from the Faberge Big Egg Hunt.
We've been desperately hunting for them all for the last couple of weeks, while they've been hidden all around London, but this is the only chance to see all 200 together. Created by artists, designers, architects and jewellers, they're an unmissable visual spectacle.
Every egg is being auctioned to benefit to great charities - Elephant Family and Action for Childen. You can bid on any of them here, but we'd suggest going for one that matches your outfit! Here are our suggestions:
Dreamweaver by Luke Irwin / Theresa draped striped skirt

Kaito citrus top / Cuckoo by Louise Barrett
For the Widows in Paradise... by Emma E Kemp / Kinks bird print jumpsuit
Iris floral dress / The Power of Plants by Susan Entwhistle
Butterfly Effect Egg by Clara Lacy / Maki buttefly dress
To bid on any of these eggs, just click on the image above! Leave us a comment if you have a suggestion of an egg/outfit combination...
With the return of Mad Men to our screens this week, this sixties look is back and bigger than ever. This look was a big hit at the couture shows earlier this year, particularly at Christian Dior with cinched waist, impossibly full skirts and an emphasis on hourglass silhouettes.

Where we left off in series four the girls were really coming into their own - Peggy had saved the company by securing a new client, Joan had a promotion and a baby on the way, and Betty was finally moving on from her cheating husband - so all eyes are on them as we tune in tonight.
The costumes are one of the show's biggest strengths and the girls each have their own unique look. The fitted waist and midi length and consistent features, but each character combines these with their own touches. Let's take a closer look:
Betty
Betty is the most traditional of the bunch, emphasising her femininity with cinched waists and girly floral prints. High necklines, midi-lengths and skinny belts are key for recreating her look.
Peggy
Peggy is a woman fighting for her place in a man's world, so she adds masculine touches to her work wardrobe in order to be taken seriously. Common features are button-up shirts, tailored skirts and cute collars, but she also likes to play with colour.
Joan
Joan loves a form-fitting, curve-hugging shift dress. Anything with a defined waist is great for enhancing her hourglass figure, but good tailoring is also key to demanding respect in the office.
Which girl's look is your favourite? And how do you think their style will develop as the show moves into the last sixties? Tell us in comments below!
Say 'Aloha!' to spring in Fullcircle's Hawaiian-inspired tropical prints.
In a very print-heavy season on the catwalks, jungle florals and palm prints stood out as the trend that's turning up the heat. From South Beach to the South Pacific, everyone's taking inspiration from the tropics.

Doing its job to keep you at the very forefront of fashion, the new flash collection is bursting with lush, verdant imagery to bring the laidback vibe of island life into your wardrobe.

One of the most popular prints from the range, featured on Fashion Daydreams and Perfecting You, is this Hawaiian ditsy:

This full skirted midi dress combines the print with this season's key silhouette to fantastic effect - perfect for summer occasions from weddings to the races. For a more casual look, pair the blouse with white denim.

If you're feeling daring and what to try head-to-toe prints, wear this top and shorts combo together to create the illusion of an all-in-one with maximum impact.
Prints are at the heart of the Fullcircle design ethos, so this is one trend we can't wait to try: head-to-toe print.
We spotted the look on the SS12 catwalk shows from, among others, Mary Katrantzou, Erdem and Moschino, and we were instantly hooked.

The beauty of this look is that it couldn't be easier to put together, but makes a really strong statement. Whether you go for stripes, florals, or something a bit different, you can put together an outfit in seconds that will really draw attention.
Try out the look with a printed jumpsuit or maxi dress, and then move on to pairing a top or blouse with trousers or a maxi skirt. Here are some Fullcircle outfits for inspiration:

Fullcircle first ever flash collection is now online...
This is the first of two design-led cruise collections, which go from the design team's sketchpads to the online store in just 12 weeks, keeping Fullcircle at the cutting edge of fashion, and responding faster than ever to the seasons key trends.
Here's a look at our :

Flash 1 is a print-heavy collection, seduced by deluxe tropical scenes with a Palm Springs feel. Jungle prints are magnified to create an abstract print direction, and Hawaiian ditsy prints are mix-matched for a contemporary twist on sheer and opaque bases. All prints are created in-house by the design team for a unique look you won't find anywhere else.

The silhouettes play on the concept of '2 in 1', offering alternative ways to wear particular pieces. Body-con dresses can morph into classic 50s midis, and printed skirts and shorts can be matched with blouses of the same print to create the illusion of an all-in-one. Multi-hem lengths give the range a modern feminine edge.

With an elegant, catwalk-ready feel, the collection is full of trend-led, cutting-edge pieces to augment your wardrobe of Fullcircle seasonal essentials.

With new collaborations with Lancome and Louis Vuitton, Yayoi Kusama is surely one of the fashion and beauty world's most favoured artists.
Few artists of her legacy and reputation are so fully embraced in fashion and popular culture, but Kusama's work has such an engaging and involving style it's not hard to see why the transition has happened so effortlessly.

Her work with polka dots, spanning nine decades, has an obsessive, immersive quality with an incredible ability to absorb its audience and overwhelm. Nowhere is this more evident that the latest exhibition of her work (sponsored by Louis Vuitton), at the Tate Modern now.
As fellow polka dot obsessives, we were drawn to the exhibition to become involved in the Kusama experience.

The show is fantastic, and as you can see from our photos, we took the opportunity to integrate freely and fully with the artworks - an unmissable experience. Surreal and hallucinatory, playful but with a paranoid edge, it's one of our top culture recommendations for the season.

We felt that the work resonated through our current collection, particularly Pop Boutique, which shares the same emphasise on colour and pattern.
If you do go down, be sure to leave us a comment and let us know what you thought!
Femininity, florals, and flashes of colour are the key ingredients of our latest collection - Pop Boutique.

Our East-meets-West theme continues with more new Japanese-inspired prints. Blurred blooms and butterflies adorn tops and dresses.

Spring neutrals are carried through from our Neo Classic collection with added pops of hot coral, which contrasts beautifully against taupe and white.

Shapes are flowing and lines are long; skirts and dresses fall to ankle length, and necklines fold and drape.

Embrace your femininity from Friday, when Pop Boutique launches online.
For Marc Jacobs it was baseball, for Peter Pilotto it was diving, and for Acne it was motocross - SS12 is the season to try a sporty new look.
This isn't about looking like you've just stepped out of the gym - instead, aim to capture the natural, organic style of dancers, gymnasts and athletes, and give it a high fashion twist.

The off-duty athlete look is great for daytime. Just layer form-fitting jersey pieces with slouchy luxe knits for a post-workout effect without the exertion. Ballerina pink and sweats-style grey marl are a perfect colour combination.

For a more formal finish, work in tailored jackets, skirts or trousers, or our key piece, the quilted biker jacket.

Sports Luxe will be launching this Friday, so it's on your marks, get set....
